Synopsis
This documentary captures the perspectives on film and art from three individuals who have spent many years in Sangdo-dong, each with their own unique experiences and stories.

Planning Intent
Sangdo-dong is home to a diverse community of people who shape the neighborhood in their own ways. I was curious about how they perceive art and film and wanted to explore the expansiveness of these concepts through their perspectives.

Production Process
The three interviewees had each lived in Sangdo-dong for over 20 years. Among them were a laundromat owner who raised children while running a business, a traditional dancer, and a filmmaker. Although they were asked the same questions about art and cinema, their answers varied based on their individual experiences. Bringing these diverse perspectives together into a single piece was a fascinating process.
